Little Brother - Get Back
Little Brother played the homecoming show at my school (Williams) this past weekend. I went in not expecting much as previous homecoming shows have sucked pretty hard (think The Virginia Coalition), but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a big fan of De la Soul and I hear a pretty significant De la influence here. They just released a new album back in September, Get Back, which is awesome upon first listen. I think I'll write up a review some time in December so I'll update the "review" link then.

hell, i saw virginia coalition in DC last week and they were great...they've always been great musicians, but somehow they've morphed and have written really cool songs (which i think they were lacking before). Kinda like old school Hootie (back when they mattered). didn't know de la soul were back - thanks for the tip. loved them back in the day... groovin' on the new amp fiddler now. check him out...

I don't think that was ever the case.
De la Soul has been back they release The Grind Date, in 2005 or 2006 I think.
Little Brother is awesome. Their career as been like a fucking soap opera.
